Transcend Where You Are
DISCOVER VEDIC MEDITATION WITH SUSAN CHEN
De-excite, change your life
I teach Vedic Meditation to show others how to live more blissfully. I spent the past decade feeling over-worked, over-traveled and over-stimulated due to a high demand Wall Street job and living in New York City. The years of accumulated stress slowly began to overshadow feelings of innate bliss and inter-contentedness. Within a short time of learning Vedic Meditation, things started to shift naturally and I began to feel relaxed and happy in my everyday life again. And, in the years that I continued to meditate, every aspect of my life simply got better. Having experienced profound changes in myself, I am now doing my part in helping others realize this highest value in theirs.
I'm here to show you an easy, effortless and enjoyable way to release yourself of legacy stress and become the best version of yourself. If you've tried other types of meditation without success, or want to find relief but don't think you would be any "good" at meditation, come join me and let me show you how!
WHAT IS VEDIC MEDITATION?
Simple, Easy, Natural
Vedic Meditation is an effortless mental process. We sit comfortably in a chair, close our eyes, and use a mantra to trigger deep rest in the mind and body. Through this process, we awaken of the full potential of the mind and a fully restored physiology.
The key to Vedic Meditation is learning how to embrace, celebrate and surrender to the body's natural processes during meditation. Learning this process of letting go and surrender allows our body to enter a state of rest and repair. Without trying, stress naturally falls away, and what remains is a baseline of bliss and happiness that you know you've always deserved.
The power of Vedic Meditation lies in its simplicity. Unlike other forms of meditation, which require focus, concentration, yogi-like flexibility, and lots of time, Vedic Meditation is natural, quick and effective. It was crafted specifically for busy people with busy lives.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF VEDIC MEDITATION?
A HEALTHIER YOU
Bringing balance within body
As we begin to de-excite the mind, the body also de-excites, and is given some long-needed rest to repair, restore and heal. Within a short time of learning Vedic Meditation, I experienced dramatic health improvements - my migraines disappeared, recurring aches and pains went by the wayside, and I slept more soundly through the night.
Scientific research shows this form of meditation yields a variety of health benefits, including: reduced stress, anxiety and insomnia, increased longevity, lowered blood pressure and cholesterol, and decreased free radicals.*
A SUPERCHARGED BRAIN
Increased mental focus and flow
From the beginning days of meditating, I could feel a big change shift in my mental state - I began to experience more clear-headed thinking, increased focus and unstrained concentration. I didn’t have to try to make it through the afternoon at work anymore; with my heightened levels of rest and increased energy, I was able to perform at the top of my game, making quick decisions and analyzing situations clearly, with a sharp mind leading the way.
Research also shows that practicing this technique of meditation will improve intelligence, creativity, and learning ability. It also aids in improved academics, and higher levels of brain functioning.*
GREATER HAPPINESS AND BLISS
Increased adaptation energy and awareness
What happens to our state of awareness when we have a clean physiology and an uncluttered, high performing mind? We begin operating from a higher baseline of happiness, fulfillment and bliss. Having been released from the stress of the past, Vedic meditators overwhelmingly report their new foundation of bliss allows them to successfully adapt to change effortlessly and experience life with ease and grace.
We become happy for no good reason, and that's a good thing!
*Susan teaches Vedic Meditation and was trained to teach this form of meditation by Thom Knoles, who continues to teach Vedic Meditation. Thom was trained as a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (“TM”) by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (“Maharishi”), and taught it for over 25 years with organizations affiliated with Maharishi. Since 1997, Thom has continued to teach meditation as he learned it from Maharishi, and has done so independently and separately from the TM organizations. Vedic Meditation is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. The form of meditation that Thom Knoles taught for over 25 years with the TM organizations as “Transcendental Meditation,” has been the subject of hundreds of scientific studies showing a wide range of benefits from regular practice. These studies, which refer to this form of meditation using the name “Transcendental Meditation” or “TM”, support the benefits obtainable from regular practice of Vedic Meditation, which are referenced above.

Guru Dev, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati
"You deserve the best.
Never feel unworthy or
not justified in having the best.
I tell you this is your heritage;
but you have to accept it,
you have to expect it.
You have to claim it.
To do so is not demanding too much."
